Marlis Leue, in her active role as a common consumer, and conscious of the necessity to reduce waste, thereby propitiating and cultivating the recycling of materials, the same in her daily life as in her artistic expressions, thinks that information for citizens, the cultivation of awareness, the changing of individual attitudes and collective action are fundamental  to advance towards more sustainable development.
Besides her work as an artist, Marlis also imparts workshops in recycled paper.
