Marlis Leue

Roehrenobjekte im Aufbau, Marlis Leue
Tubos
Germany/NRW/Detmold/Alte Schule Am Wall, 1994
A sculpture composed of three tubes which indicate and symbolically unite with handicrafts the importance of nature and industry, created out of 1,500 kilos of stoneware, 2.4 meters high, with special reduction glazes..

Reflexiones
Spain/Andalucia/Jaén/University, 2003
A sculpture of reinforced concrete, stainless steel, vegetable fiber and olive wood, with a height of almost eight meters. The concave part of each piece is lined with plates of polished stainless steel, creating various optical reflections which change with each movement of the viewer. A network of vegetable fiber and olive wood (with an air of bobbin lace) functions both as a uniting element and a mobile.
